PONENCIA: "The magic of micropigmentation as enhancer of the personal image"
Micropigmentation is a vehicle for transforming faces and bodies but, above all, it is a vehicle for transforming emotional states. It is a true lift of self-esteem. Taking this starting point, in the paper we will analyze - through real cases, with photos and testimonies - how people with cleft lips; Scars on different parts of the body; Invisible areolas after a breast cancer operation; Alopecia or uneven eyebrows have managed to change their lives thanks to the gratifying physical and emotional journey that is micropigmentation. Their renewed images have allowed them to open wide professional and personal doors that, before micropigmentation, were closed due to low self-esteem, shame and rejection of the physical image itself.
