El XVI International Congress of Protocol, which will be held from 27 to 29 in November Valladolid, has incorporated its group of collaborators to CEOE, a confederation that brings together more than two million companies and self-employed through 240 sectoral and territorial associations. In this way, CEOE will spread this important event among its associates throughout Spain.
The collaboration agreement between the International School of Protocol y CEOE establishes that the two entities will promote joint training and communication activities in the field of protocol, communication and the organization of events. For Gerardo Correas, president of the aforementioned School, it is an important agreement for the world of protocol and Spanish companies since "Near the 50% of the business results have to do with a good management of the protocol in the company, the communication strategy, the corporate events or the image".
El XVI International Congress of Protocol, Corporate Communication, Personal Image and Organization of Events is organized by the International School of Protocol (EIP) and will have the participation of Narciso Married Martín, Director of the Office of the President of the CEOE, who will give the opening conference, and Peter Van Leare, Chief of Protocol of the United Nations, who will be in charge of the closing ceremony. The organization of the Congress has confirmed to 82 speakers, among them, in addition to those already mentioned, the president of the Political Communication Association (ACOP), Daniel Ureña; the director of the Volvo Ocean Race; the ONCE Protocol Coordinator, Javier Aguado, or the Chief of Protocol of the United Nations, Peter Van Laere.
Both institutions consider the protocol, corporate communication, personal image and the organization of events as one more tool to improve the results of the companies. For this reason, the XVI International Protocol Congress stands as an important event for the international networking of Spanish companies that will gather more than 800 attendees from 50 countries in the Castilian capital.
International School of Protocol
The International School of Protocol is formed by a network of centers with offices in Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Granada, Asturias and A Coruña, as regards Spain, and in other countries such as Argentina, Honduras and Paraguay. At present, it is considered the first world center specialized in training in Protocol, Institutional Relations and Event Management. More than 20.000 students have passed through its classrooms, of which 60% currently occupies management positions in protocol departments, reflecting the growing activity of the event organization sector.
